Ruth,

I have found alot of Avery history on the avery site in Findagrave.com

It states that Christophers wife was Margery Stephens, widow of Thomas Stephens, dau. of Robert and Dorothy Abraham. This may be part of the confusion if this is true, her maiden name was Abraham?.

Keep me updated as I am also part of this line.
