My grandfather, Frank Austin Ayre died in 1941 aged 47. I never had the pleasure of meeting the one person in this world I would dearly have loved to meet. I believe he came from the North East of England, possibly the Sunderland area. He was the son of James and Maude Ayre. My grandmother came from South Wales which is where most of the Ayre family I know, and it's descendants come from. Is there anyone out there who can give me more information about my grandfather and his family.
