I have some info Re:Joseph Ayre, my husband's Great Grandfather. I am on Vac. but have info. at home; Joseph and Rachel's Son, James Ayre was our line. Joseph was married to a Ruth Carter first, she died in Durham, England after the l870 census & they were listed as Joseph Arpe I believe (as misspelled on census) and this aggrees with old family info. I have listing Ruth Carter. I know Joseph was living with his daughter Ruth Butson on the 1930 census in Manheim, Lancaster, Pa. but I would like the death certificate info. I cannot find him before 20 years old or his parents in that area of Durham, England.
