I have searched for years on any info on my gg grandfather, Henry Ayers. He is believe to have been born abt 1815-1823 NC, AL, SC GA or VA. I found this info listed on different census records. He may have been married to a Mary or she might have been his daughter or daughter-in-law. William Ayers age one is listed on the same 1860 Colbert, Al census as Henry & Mary. I think William spent his whole life in AL and died in 1923. His daughter Susie Ann Ayers is my grandmother. Any help is greatly appricated.
