I have traced my tree back to 1741 with a marriage between Richard Babbington to Mary Warwick in Buckinghamshire. Around 1800 the surname changed from Babbington to Babington until it stayed at Bavington after 1800 on my line. I am unable to find anything else out about Richard apart from his burial in Haversham Bucks in 1784 and together he and Mary had 6 children. If anybody can help me further I would be grateful.
