I know they is a direct link between the Yorkshire Babbs (my lineage) and a Babb lineage also in England. My father used to tell me about a cousin I had who went by that name but my father died a few years ago before I became interested in my family history. However, a person you could try to find is my Uncle Sidney who I think is still alive and living in Bradford. He was my father's older brother but he changed his name is Sidney Black after a falling out with the family. He might know more about the family links. I have tried to contact him but I haven't had any luck.
