My father's name was Joseph Albert Babineau. He was born in 1905. His parents were Edmond Babineau and Joséphine Poirier. I know my father was in the States around 1922, in New England at first and then, he enrolled in the U.S. army. He was based in Texas, near San Antonio. He would have remained in the army about 5 years. He got out ranked as a sergeant and came back to the province of Québec. Is there a way to find military records from that period or finding trace of his passage in the States, so many years ago?
