Hello Anne, I realise the message you left regarding Elizabeth & Edward babington is rather old but I've just found it and I do have quite a bit of information on them. Elizabeth was my great grandaunt, her father, Edward, my g.g. grandfather. Edward was born circa 1801 in East kirkby, Lincolnshire and died 18 November 1849. He married Ann Lake and they had at least 8 children - I have some detailed information on 4 of these and their families: Elizabeth, Benjamin Lake, Mildred and Hephzibah Ruth (my great grandmother).
You might have found most of this information yourself by now but if you are still looking, please do contact me. I recently followed Elizabeth and Douglas Shave's line via census data - are you related to this line?
