My family is in Ohio and my father was born Vinton County, Ohio. Issue of John and Sarah (Wiseman) Bacus.

It is rumored we have relatives in Kansas and the State of Washington.

My fathers siberlings: Clarence, Edith, Edda, William all deceased.

If you may help, I appreciate it. I am a raw novice and do not have any idea how to do this research. The name may have been spelled several ways since entering country. Oral history says we are of German decent and came to county during Revolutionary War as merceneries.
