The Jeremiah Bailey (born 2 Jun 1784, possibly Montgomery Co., VA - d. 9 Apr 1825, Amelia Co., VA) who is buried in this cemetery is the son of Benjamin Bailey (b.c. 1755, possibly Augusta Co., VA - d.c. 1813, possibly Chesterfield Co., VA) and his wife Ann Elizabeth Watkins (b.c. 1764 - d.c. 1812-1813, possibly Chesterfield Co., VA). Jeremiah was married (c. 1804-1805) to Mary Watkins Anderson (b. 7 Mar 1786, Prince Edward Co., VA - d. 4 Jun 1874, probably Amelia Co., VA). Mary is the daughter of Jordan Anderson, Jr. and Margaret Easter.
I don't have any siblings listed for Jeremiah.
The only Stephen Bailey that I have record of is Stephen Thomas Bailey (b. 18 Oct 1836 - d. 6 Dec 1851), son of Jordan Bailey (b. 15 Nov 1806 - d. 31 May 1884/1887) and Frances Ann Claiborne (b.c. 1817 - d. 19 Apr 1857). Jordan Bailey is the son of Jeremiah Bailey & Mary Watkins Anderson listed above. Jordan, Frances & Stephen are all buried in the Bailey Cemetery, Acona, MS.
