Meadowview, VA – Mary Ryan Bailey, 80, passed away Monday,
July 20, 2009, at her residence. She was born August 29,
1928, in Washington Co VA. She was a member of Meadowview
United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and
Sallie Ryan; her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Bailey;
four brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Eddie Bailey and wife Peggy of
Meadowview, VA; her daughter, Connie Mann and husband
Buddy of Abingdon, VA; and two grandsons, Justin Mann and
Chris Mann.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 21, 2009,
from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, July 22,
2009, at 2 p.m., at the Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery
with the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Those wishing to
attend the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
