I am trying to find the parents of Mary Ann Bailey, b. 1823 in Pennsylvania, who married Enoch Shewey/Shuey May, 1847 in Marion Co., Ohio. She may have had a sister Lucinda.
Mary Ann and husband Enoch Shewey went to Keokuk Co. Iowa to live. She had two children and returned to Marion Co., Ohio to her mother after a failed marriage. Her mother may have been widowed or remarried.
Does anyone have information of a Bailey family in Claridon Twp., Marion Co., Ohio in 1830s, 1840s and 1850s.
