I checked my FTM database and I don't show John Leroy Bailey. My Bailey line hails from WVA and then some moved to other US states. Do you have the State & Federal census records on John Leroy? You give his birth but you don't say where he was born---only that he died in KS.

If he died in 1932 Kansas, you should be able to locate a newspaper obit. Have you tried contacting the volunteers at RAOGK for Kansas? They are wonderful and so helpful. Here's the link.
