Madeliene Bailey Jones, 85, was born on March 17, 1924,
Hawkins Co TN, and passed away on Sunday, October 18,
2009, Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan E. Jones;
her parents, Noah and Elsie Bailey; two brothers, Joseph
Bailey and Conrad Bailey; and four sisters, Leona Showers,
Helen Benton, Roselle Smith, and Lorene Smith.
Madeliene is survived by two sons, Randal Jones and Byron
Jones; two grandchildren, Laura Jones and Harlan Jones;
and one sister, Carla Morrison.
The family will receive friends at the graveside services
which will be conducted at East Lawn Memorial Park on
Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave.,
7th Floor, New York, NY, 10001.
