Hi Janet

Thank you for your reply, yours is the second in a month, much appreciated. I know very little of the Irish-Scots side of my family, My Mother often spoke of her family, but, at the time did not appreciate the detail, now at that time of life when I want to know everything, There are very few members of the family of my age group that I am aware of, and they all know as much as me, nothing.
I have managed to go back to Thomas Bailey/Sarah Clarke circa 1870, Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, that leaves me one generation short of that common ancestor, but, which side of the family? there are a few combinations for that ancestor to choose from.

Look foward to hearing from you again.

Richard
