I am trying to find my Bailey ancestors from Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.
I would like to find out what happened to Sarah "Sadie" Bailey, daughter of John and Juliann Bailey. [I have the census records for their other daughter Amanda J. Bailey - my ggreat grandmother].
All I've been able to find is what's listed below:
1850 census for Madison Twp., Clarion Co., Pennsylvania
John Bailey self age 37 or 57 (can't read it) b. Pa.
Juliann Bailey wife 42 b. Pa.
Sarah Bailey daug 7 b. Pa.
Amanda Bailey daug 5 b. Pa.
1860 census for Madison Twp., Clarion Co., Pennsylvania
Julian Bailey self 53 widow personal estate 180 b. Pa.
Sarah A. bailey daug 17 b. Pa.
Amanda Bailey daug 15 b. Pa.
According to the mortuary records, Amanda (Bailey) Buzard's sister - Sarah A. Bailey - attended her funeral but all it said in reference to her was that she went by "Sadie" and she lived in Buena Vista, Amador Co., California. Amanda died in 1937 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., Kansas.
