Hi there--
Sounds like you are having as much luck finding 'Baines" as I do finding info on my 'Bains' line.

I have a lineage of Bains going way back, only time "Baines' shows up is Lyndon Baines Johnson (sorry to say).

I live in Albuqueque and the world famous Albuquerque Kodak Balloon Fiesta is starts tomorrow--launching 1000 balloons. Relatives coming from my mother's side, named Midyett. Got tons of info on them, very little on Armistead and Bains.
