Frederick&Jane Baker, orphans, NY 1860+

Frederick (Fred,Frank) BAKER or Jane (Fannie Maggie) BAKER were bound out after their parents died sometime in the the 1860s or 1870s to a couple with the name of BARNES or BAINES in or near Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. This couple was probably farmers

Jane died at age 12. Frederick ran away at about age 15. He shows up again in 1883 in Nebraska marrying Ida Marie BIXBY. It is rumored that Frederick followed a family to Nebraska or Iowa that was a neighbor to this Baker family in New York.

I am looking for information on the ancestors of Frederick and Jane and also on any siblings (I think that there were three others who were no longer minors or were married when their parents died).
