Hello there kirsty i came across your family research by chance whilst searching for something completely different to family trees. Your Family list caught my eye and there may be something interesting to you about your William Baines (167) and his cousin John (168). I may have got it wrong but there are date of birth similarities to a William Baines killed in the woodpit explosion Haydock 1878.
