Since Pat Shannon has me looking into my Baynes line I am reading this current information.

My gggrandfather was Matthew Redmon Baynes born in AL, about 1840. His wife's name is Jane, and she was born in SC 1848. My GGrandmother Mary Ann Malissa Baynes Stallings was born in AL November 12, 1964, but she was raised and died in Clarke County, MS.

Do you have anything that connects Matthew Redmon Baynes to your family lines? He resided in Choctaw Co, AL when he enlisted in the spring of 1864.
