I'm looking for the parents, family or origins of Sarah or Sally Bains or Banes, probably born in Kentucky. She married Godfrey Jones in 1823 in Gallatin County, Kentucky; Bennett B. Buck was the witness. The couple moved to Hensley Township, Johnson County, Indiana in time for the 1830 census; in 1834, Godfrey bought 80 acres there. He later listed himself as a Methodist Episcopal clergyman, and he died in 1860. Sarah was probably illiterate and in later life resided with her daughter, Eleanor. Her other children were Thomas, Temperance, Mary, Zachariah and George.
