A clarification from my Balfe correspondent, Jacqi:
"After I sent you the info, I realized that I neglected to read it over properly before I sent it to you, and didn't for instance put in Thomas Balfe's birth and death years: 1816-1895.
As well, I included mention of a Michael Balfe whose children were baptized at St. Philip Neri. I now realize that this was probably not Patrick Balfe and Margaret Ronan's son Michael but Thomas Balfe and Ann Hourigan's son Michael...b.1873. Elizabeth S. had him marrying an Elizabeth O'Meara. Patrick Balfe's son Michael was born 1869/1870! Don't know who he married, if anyone."
