We are related, many times over. I descend from James Hooper and Jemima Bankson Hooper. Jemima's nephew, Elijah Bankson married Rachel Crocker. William Hooper, son of James and Jemima, married Jeroushia Crocker. When Rachel Crocker died, Eliza Hooper (daughter of James and Jemima, and sister of William Hooper) married Elijah Bankson.
There are some great Bankson researchers you should contact.
I am a Hooper researcher, as that is my family line. Through the years, I have obtained some great Bankson files, also Brewer (Jacob Brewer married Edietha Crocker, another sister of Rachel and Jeroushia), and some Wakefield files. Elizabeth Crocker (mother of the Crocker sisters) was born, Elizabeth Walkefield, daughter of Revolutionary War Hero, Henry Wakefield.
You would do well to research the Bankston board, and the boards at Ancestry.com. Also check the Wakefield, and Crocker boards, and Brewer.
