At this point, I know very little about Margaretha Bard. She was born in Hesse Darm, Prussia in 1825. She came to this country as a young girl with people other than her parents. I don't know what ship or any other pertinent info. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a connection, as she ended up in Wisconsin, then her descendants lived in Chicago, IL. I would also like to know if there is a connection. I hope you have success in this. I hired a professional genealogist to help me out, and we could never find any more info. on Margaretha Bard.
