Hello,
Many years ago, I found this book in at an antique store and bought it because I was very heavy into Genealogy and knew a family in this book that were from the Bardstown, Ky group. However, I do not need this book and would like to sell it to someone who will treasure it. I am not a Bard and this book belongs with a Bard family. As a Cessna and Culbertson researcher, I have purchased several family books and this book is an absolutely wonderful find.
The book is 'The Bard Family. A History and Genealogy of the Bards of "Carroll's Delight" Together with a Chronicle of the Bards and Genealogy of the Bard Kinship". It was written by G.O. Seilhamer, Esq and was published by Kittochtinny Press in Chambersburg, Pa. 1908. There were only 300 of this book published so this is a rare and wonderful find.
This book is in excellent shape and is an absolute treasure with 482 pages of family history, including the Bardstown, Ky group. It has a bunch of information on the family in Franklin Co, Pa where my Cessna's and Culbertson's and Sharps and McConnell's all came from. I recognize several of the family names in this book that were in Kentucky when my family arrived there. A few of us are mentioned in the book regarding the Rev War........but no family history, per se.
