Bayly Family Genealogy Forum

I'm helping a descendant of Peirce/ Pierce Bayly (m. Mary Payne), son of William Bayly, of Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, VA. Peirce was born in the 1740s to William and Mary (Hampton?) Bayly, who I believe lived in the Mason's Neck/ Colchester area. They were members of Truro Parish, Pohick Church, along with Washington, George Mason, and other planters of that area. I'm not certain, but I believe that Mountjoy Bayly was either a brother or uncle to Peirce Bayly.
If anyone has done substantial work on the above line, it would be a great help. I've dead-ended with William Bayly, who I think was born about 1710, and was a merchant in Colchester. I've wondered if this Bayly line is related to the Bailey/Bayly family of Kinsale, Westmoreland County, which arrived there in the mid-1600s.
The line of descent for my friend is through the following: William> Peirce> Albert> Sampson P.> Sampson Jr.
