Hello Christopher My name is Justine Bayly and I am like yourself trying to trace back the history of my branch of this family. Below is what I have: Thomas Bayly sailed on the "Amelia Thompson" in 1841 to New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand and had 8 children. One was a son Frank Bayly, who had 6 children one of which was Charles Anthony Rundle Bayly, who had 4 children one of which is Philip Anthony Bayly, who has two daughters who are myself and Sarah. To my knowledge all of the above reside(d) in NZ, I moved to London in 1999. The following website has a lot of information back to John Bayly in the 1600's - www.ancestry.com: Name: Thomas BAYLY Christening: 29 Jan 1832 North Tamerton Cornwall England Death: in New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand Father: Thomas BAYLY Mother: Susannah METHERELL Marriage Ann RUNDLE b: 22 Dec 1833 in England Married: 5 Feb 1855 in New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand Children George Thomas BAYLY b: 17 Mar 1856 in New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand Frederick BAYLY b: 5 Jul 1857 in New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand Amelia Dallas BAYLY b: 12 Dec 1858 in New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand Harry BAYLY b: ABT 1860 Charles BAYLY b: ABT 1864 in Waitara Taranaki New Zealand Alfred BAYLY b: 20 May 1866 in Waitara Taranaki New Zealand Frank BAYLY b: ABT 1868 Walter BAYLY b: 18 Nov 1869 in Waitara Taranaki New Zealand.
