Winter in Victoria is just as bad as Otago at the present. 12C windy and wet, thunderstorms at present. Was back in Otago in May and the weather was good.
Will try to help you a bit more.
Albert French Beadle I believe is your family and Albert Henry Beadle (my Dads brother)who married Jean Sinclair is mine.
First, Albert French Beadle.
My Mum received a letter in 2002 from Joan and Geoff Beadle which will help you and she said:
"Oldest generation:
Walter Beadle married Charlotte French. Walter may have had a brother George (known as Joel),Alfred,and sister Charlotte (Lottie).(I think you may link this)
Walter and Charlotte had the following children:
1.Albert French Beadle (died 23.12.1979)father of Edgar French Haley Beadle
2.Tom Beadle, father of Shirley and Heather
3.Millie Beadle
4.Gordon Beadle
5.William Beadle, father of Ross and Keith (ministers of the Church of Christ)
6.Herbert Beadle
7.Myra Beadle married name Lewis
Edgar French Haley Beadle born 26.3.21 married Ethel Mariam Robertson and had the following children:
1.Marian Beadle (married Sinclair)
2.Geoff Beadle married Joan. Lives Dunedin
3.Allan Beadle married Mary, lives Dunedin
4.Phillip Beadle married Sandi, now lives in USA
5.Ruth Beadle (marrie Jones)
6.Tim Beadle married Dianne, lives Mosgiel"

Next next in my tree:
Thomas Beadle and Emily Palmer Sopp married Putney 1860. Emigrated to NZ on Allahabad 1873. Children; John(1861), Emily Elizabeth (1862), Amelia (1864), Thomas (1866), John(1868), Grace (1869), Amy (1872), Albert Edward (1876), Mary (1880) and Alice (1881)(I have info on some of these)
Next in my tree:
Albert Edward Beadle married Janet Clarson Waddell in Kaitangata 1900.Children; Albert Lenard (1904, Gordon Roberts (1900), Evelyn Annie (1902), Alma Emily (1905), Gladys (1906), and Jean Janet Johnson (1906)
Next in my tree:
Gordon Roberts Beadle married Constance Murdoch Gordon Glassford married 1933 Dunedin. Children; Albert Henry (born 1934)married Jean Sinclair, Stanley Gordon (born 1937) married Glenys Tsukigawa , and Diana Waldron (born 1942) married Tricker.
My parents being Stan and Glenys.
