I picked up an oil painting in an antique store in Florida in
October of 2003. The painting is of a young blonde boy. He is wearing knickers and is sitting in the doorway of a barn as he stares pensively across the fields. The artist has signed his name in all caps: M. Beadle and dated the painting Oct. 4, 1938.
Do you know this artist? Are you related? Is he still living. (I'm assuming the artist is male because the signature is in all caps.) I like knowing about the artists of the works I collect and so far I've not been able to find anything about this artist or his painting that I so cherish.
