CHATHAM - Virginia R. "Penny" Beadle, 66, of Chatham died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Chatham, the daughter of Marvin and Betty Locke Hoskinson. She married Gerald E. Beadle in 1960; he died in 1989.
Mrs. Beadle worked at Hi Diddle Kiddle daycare for more than 20 years. She was a member of Chatham Christian Church and VFW Post 755 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors: son, Warren (wife, Becky) Beadle of Chatham; daughter, Lisa McGee of Chatham; a grandson; two brothers, Marvin "Tuffy" (wife, Mildred) Hoskinson of Chatham and Richard (wife, Donna) Hoskinson of Olney; an aunt; and an uncle.
Cremation was accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois.
Graveside services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Camp Butler National Cemetery, Paula J. Staab Polk officiating.
Staab Polk Memorial Home in Chatham is in charge of arrangements.
