BEADLE, JULIET CURRO Mrs. Juliet Curro Beadle, a resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, March 3, 2007. She was born in Gulfport, Miss., on June 25, 1919. In 1941, after graduating from St. Mary's Dominican College, New Orleans, Mrs. Beadle came to Morgan City and taught school. She retired from the St. Mary Parish School System in the 1980s. Most Morgan City citizens will remember that they or their children had her as a teacher. In her senior years, Mrs. Beadle found great joy when she would come across a person she had taught. She was a lady who believed that God and family came first, and that morals and honor were to be valued. Mrs. Beadle was a 32-year survivor of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and was often called upon to give hope to others about their cancer related illnesses. Juliet is survived by three children, Teresa Beadle Theriot and her husband, Tim, of Bayou L'Ourse, Frannie Beadle Bodden and her husband, Walter, of Webster, Texas, and Eber J. "Billy" Beadle IV and his wife, Mary Beth, of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Roy Jones IV of Morgan City, Dr. Juliette Lott of Grenada, Miss., Brooke Bodden of Webster, Eber J. "Blue" Beadle V and Sarah Beadle of Lafayette; a sister, Joyce Curro of New Orleans; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Eber J. Beadle III; her parents, John and Frances Curro; her brothers, James Curro and Pasquale Curro; and her sister, Leah Curro Hirsch. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Danny Poche, celebrant. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Metz III and the nurses at Teche Regional Medical Center for their excellent care of our mother. Thank you also to her sitters. Pallbearers will be Eber Beadle IV, Eber Beadle V, Roy Jones IV, Jerry Wood and Gene Gaudet. Honorary pallbearer is Herb LeBlanc. Family and friends are invited to leave condolences at hargravefh@bellsouth.net. Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
