I am currently researching the Frazier line of my family and in attempting to find further information regarding my great great great grandfather, Alexander Frazier of Trenton, NY (1787-1882), I discovered that it appears that his father's name was William Frazier, who was born in Scotland, and settled the John Jones farm in 1799 near Remson, NY. A town history of Remsen states that a daughter of William, and thus a sister of Alexander, was married to one Filkins Beadle. Filkins lived on the Joshua G. Jones farm, just south of Remsen. Filkins Beadle, Jr., died in 1807; other children of Filkins, Sr were Daniel, Chrisjane, Helen, Alice, Harriet and Ellen. I am looking for solid info confirming the connection of the Frazier and Beadle / Bedell families and have been unable to find anything at all. If anyone has info they are willing to share I would be most grateful.
