My gggg grandfather was Benjamin Gillette Beadle, he was born in Ontario County, New York around 1810. His family soon moved to Onandago County, New York and lived there until he was about 7 or 8, they then moved to Athens County, Ohio. His father died there in 1826 and his mother around 1844. His first wife was Lydia Brown, they married in Cincinnati, Ohio. They had 3 children Louisa Jane, Henry and Omar. They moved to St. Louis, MO and Lydia passed away February 1842. He then moved to Memphis, TN and met and married Zeuriah Dorcas Wilson February 29, 1844 and I believe they had one daughter Jennie Beadle. Zeuriah passed away October 16, 1850 and is buried in Marshall County, Mississippi. They lived at that time on the state line between Memphis, TN and Holly Springs, MS. He then met and married Evaline Wilson, Zeuriah's cousin, 25 Feb 1851. They had one daughter Eva Gillette Beadle, she was born 22 Feb 1853 in Holly Springs, Marshall County, Mississippi.
I know that Benjamin had 2 brothers named Alfred and James Henry Beadle and I believe a sister named Eva. I know that his grandfather was Benjamin Beadle and that his middle name came from his grandmother's maiden name. If anyone can help me with this line I would really appreciate it. I believe his line of Beadles came from Massachusetts but cannot prove this.
