Most information of Ninian Bealle I got from the internet, by googling his name. Roberta Hull has his history and so does "My Southern Family" website and several articles on Washington, DC. I also have a book on the history of Washington, DC, that has a map of the three properties owned by him that later became the Arboreatum, the Mall and White House properties, and Georgtown. How they found he was a "cornetist" I have not yet documented. Also, for some reason I never see any information on one Norborne Brooke Beall who married Elizabeth DuVal, daughter of William Pope DuVal (also on internet) who are supposed to be my direct ancestors through my grandmother, Helen Beall Houston.
