BEALL Slave Featured in Book and Law Day Celebration

Yarrow MAMOUT, the former slave of the BEALL family, will be the topic of a Celebrate Law Day pogram by the Montgomery County MD Historical Society and the Montgomery County Circuit Court Law Library in Rockville MD 1 May. The free program features meet the author and tea from 2:30 t0 4 and a talk at 4 by James JOHNSTON on "the fasinating life of freed slave Yarrow MAMOUT." Copies of Mr. JOHNSTON's book, "From Slave Ship to Harvard: Yarrow MAMOUT & the History of an American Family" will be available for sale.
