Hello "Family"

I'm new to this forum, but hope to get actively involved. I am the youngest son of the youngest son of Antonio Marier (settled in Windsor, ON but not sure where he started out) who married Rosa Beaulne (from Sudbury, ON). I have never been able to get past my grandparents and further into our family tree, so this is exciting.

I have one burning question: I have been told that we have First Nations lineage, and I am actively involved in the community. However, I have been asked to trace my First Nations roots. I have been told that my grandmother (Rosa Beaulne) was a First Nations descendent.

Does anyone have any information on this?
