I have some Beaupre's and Cote's in my line (Not many)The below is from a book called EARLY DUCK CREEK HISTORY, (The Green Bay Wisconsin area. Cote This name is also spelled Coti, Cota and Coteau Gabriel Coti traded in Wisconsin furs as early as 1760, and his son carried on the business until around 1820. A Gabriel cote married Marie-Louis Briabin dit Verboncouer; some of their children were: Adelaide Cota (b. 25 Apr 1822 d. 30 Mar 1895) married Thomas Verboncouer (b. 1811) on 12 Aug 1843 and had eleven children page 111 Emily (b, 1825) married Gabriel Houle (b. 8 Feb 1820) on 4 August 1845; they had five boys and seven girls. Gabriel was Brown County Treasurer, then moved to Stephenson, Michigan. Henry married Mary Ann KE WAS KUM, daughter of Menominee father Peter KE WAS KUM and Chippewa mother, ES qUA KI SE KO KE. Henry may have had an Indian mother.) Joseph married Therese Dupuis.
