H. Allen Becker, 75, retired Truck Driver

H. Allen Becker, 75, formerly of (unable to read) N. Walnut St., Columbia City, of (unable to read) Plantation Drive, Columbia City, died at 12:20 pm Thursday, Nov. 21 at Whitley County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing hearlth since August and had been hospitalized since Nov. (unable to read).

Mr. Becker was born October 5, 1910 in Noble County, to Henry and Delilah Zimmerman Becker. He attended school in Noble County and was married on April 18, 1931 to Millie C. Loe. After his marriage he moved to Columbia City and had lived there since 1931.

Mr. Becker was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He retired from Shippers Dispatch of Fort Wayne.

He was a member of F&AM Doe Guard Lodge at Larwill, (unable to read) Temple of Fort Wayne and the Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne.

Survivingare his wife Millie; a son, Jerry L. Becker of Fort Wayne; a granddaughter Amanda Michelle; a brother, Arthur Becker of Florida; two sisters, Esther Funder of Fort Wayne and Jessie Clouse of Green township, Noble County.

Three brothers and a sister are deceased.

Friends may call at Hollingsworth Memorial Chapel today, Nov. 22 from 2 to 9 pm. The service will be at 2 pm Saturday at the chapel with the Rev. James Linton officiating.

The Doe Guard Lodge of Larwill will conduct a service at (unable to read) pm today, Nov. 22.

Burial will be at South Park Cemetery.
