In the 1900 census, Walter can be found living with his parents, Andrew Bell and Josiphine Bell, his two sisters, and his maternal grandmother, Clearcinda Chancy. Clearcinda Chancy was listed as the widowed head-of-household. Andrew Bell's birthdate is listed as January 1861 in Tennessee. His parents were both born in Tennessee. Josephine (Chancy) Bell was born October 1877 in Tennessee. Her parents were both born in Georgia. Walter's two sisters were Ellen Bell, born April 1894 in Tennessee, and Annie Bell, born February 1899 in Tennessee. Also part of the household are Myrtle Bell, born April 1885 in Georgia and a Laura L. Chancy, born March 1883 in Tennessee. I couldn't find anything on Andrew James Bell's parents.
