From what I've learned, my great-grandfather James Bellew came to Wisconsin from Galway when he was 14 (about 1845). I don't know anything about his family in Ireland. If this helps you find anything, please let me know. Been thinking of going to Ireland to look for family but haven't had the chance, yet, and would want to know a place to start looking besides just somewhere in or around Galway.
