Doing research on the 37th Massachusetts Infantry regiment during the Civil War (1861-1865). There are three Beston's listed on the roster of Company A.

Beston, Dennis- Priv. -Res. Amherst; 18; farmer; enl. and must. July 28, 1864 ; must. Out June 21, 1865.

Beston, John -Priv. -Res. Amherst; 20; carpenter; enl. Aug. 8, 1862; must. Aug. 30, 1862; wounded Aug. 21, 1864, Charles ~Town, W. Va.; must. out June 21, 1865, as Sergt.

Beston, Patrlck- Priv. -Res. Amherst; 18; farmer; enl. Aug. 8, 1862; must. Aug. 30, 1862 ; wounded Aug. 21, 1864, Charles Town, W.Va. ; disch. for wounds, May 16, 1865, Wilson's Station,Va.
