East Galician (currently Ukraine) b,m,d records from a hundred-odd years ago indicate that a number of Pikholz (or Pickholz) shortened their names to Bik or Bick as derivatives of Pik and Pick.

As we are doing a project to identify and reconnect all Pikholz descendants, we'd be
pleased if anyone knowing of a Bick from this area would keep us in mind.
