Thank you for the information but the Margaret Bishop listed here b. in 1805 is not the right age & I believe she married a William Lewis. My Margaret Bishop was born about 1820 or 1821 and married Oct 28, 1838 in Coosa Co. Alabama to George Hughey (the marraige bond was signed by George's cousin William Benjamin Lewis). Allen & Margaret Lewis Bisop are living in Marion Co. Alabama in 1850 three dwellings down from George and Margaret Bishop Hughey - in this census Margaret Hughey is listed as 29 putting her date of birth about 1821. Also, the death of Allen Bishop was after 1860 as he last appears in the Marion Co. census living with his youngest duaghter Libby Bishop Fry. I believe that Margaret Bishop Hughey is related to the Allen Bishop line but I do not know how yet.
