"The State vs. Drury Bishop - Horse Stealing. The prisoner at the bar having been found guilty by his country the court proceeded to pass sentence on him which is that he be taken from the bar to the common gaol where he is to remain until the 11th of Nov. next and to be taken from thence by the sheriff to the gallows between the hours of twelve and two o'clock, there to be hanged by the neck until his body be dead and the Lord have mercy on his soul."
