"p. 136 Samuel Carter to Charles Williams, Deed of Conveyance, 7 March 1810, Forty three Dollars, 75 acres on the waters of Cuffeetown Creek adj lands of Moses Tilley, Jacob Hiblers, Richard Yates, William William formerly the property of Joseph Bishop deceased. Wit. John Coughran, James Smith, Samuel (S) Carter. Proven 24 March 1810 by John Coughran; Garrett Freeman J Q. Justice Garrett Freeman certifies relinquishment of dower rights by Feeby Carter wife of Samuel Carter 24 March 1810; /s/Feeby (x) Carter. Rec 2 July 1810."
