Looking for information on a blacksmith who escaped from Nicholas County before 1850. He resided near Red Oak and
Decatur Ohio in Brown County. He was a runaway slave from
Nicholas County and I believe active in the UGRR, probably helping other Bishops to escape before the Civil War. It is rumored he returned to Decautur area after the Civil War.
