Peter Bishop was born c1780 in VA or PA. His presumed wife in 1850 was Eleanor. The 1840 census suggests that he may have had as many as nine children but I suspect there was a second family living with him.
We know that he had daughter Euphemia who married Oliver Ashenhurst in 1828.
It's said that Peter had daughter Mary who married Joseph McManis c1840.
Oliver Ashenhurst's niece, Nancy Ashenhurst, married Valentine Bishop who lived near Peter. Was he another child of Peter's?

Does anyone have info about the parents, birth, marriage, death, etc. of Peter Bishop? Does anyone know what happened to -any- of the Bishops noted above?
