Any info welcome..... My father's name was Frederick henry Bishop b1916 ? , he had 2 brothers Michael and Benjamin Slyvester. They were placed for adoption in Capebreaton, Nova Scotia approx. 1921 by their mother. Although I may have incorrect info on his parents , the story is... Father was Ernest Bishop b1885 ,d1921 and his mothers name was Anne Bishop[Kearney]. They lived in the U.S. , and my Dad remembers passing through Detroit when comming to Canada. He was told his father died in an auto accident. His mother put the 3 boys up for adoption and they were seperated. All living in Nova Scotia. Many years later my Dad received a call from his half brother , only to find out his mother had died. My father up to that point had no idea where his mother was or that she re-married and he had a half brother, nor did he want anything to do with her.I wish I had asked him more questions. I guess I could use any help in finding out my roots.
