We are looking for information pertaining to Willis J. Bishop (aka W. J. Bishop) who lived in New Orleans from 1855 (possibly even earlier) to 1868. He was born circa 1812 in VA and he died 2 Mar. 1868 in New Orleans. In his later years, he was a partner with Adam Thomson in a suger refinining company know as A. Thomson & Co.

Willis J. Bishop married Mary Roach ca. 1834. She was born circa 1821 and died 10 Feb. 1855 in New Orleans. Apparently, the couple had no children. Mary had a sister named Anna Kerr.

Any information that you can provide about Willis J. Bishop or Mary Roach of New Orleans would be greatly appreciated.
