John Anthony's wife Jennie's maiden name is Johnson. She was born in colonia Juarez Mexico in 1902. Her family moved to Mesa AZ in 1912. Lee was actually her 3rd child-As I recall. According to my dad, Ben, Jennie and Lula were very close friends. When Lula passed away due to pneumonia, Jennie married John. They had 9 children. Johnny (died in Phillipines during WWII), Alene, Jennie Mae, Lee,Ben, Andrew, Chari, Nurylon, Danny. Jennie Mae and Lee are deceased. John and Jennie joined the FLDS church and moved to Colorado City around 1944. All the children were ensconced in that religion from that point on. A few have since left it. John Anthony passed away sometime before 1950. Not much was ever said to about it except he died peacefully in his sleep. My brother told me, "He just woke up dead one day." Franklin some of your information is different than mine and I would love to see what yours is. After all these generations, who knows how convoluted stories get? It is good history either way.My children are very curious about my ancestory.
